Have you been to this tough time when you forgot your password or the computer you are using is password protected and you can not LOGON? Well, I've been to situation like that and it really gives me pain in my head until I discover a program to sort it out, the SPOTMAU 2010.

Now, what happened to me was, I was working in an office with couple of colleagues. Sometimes, I get mad because one of them (my colleagues) keeps changing the password and that made me unable to use the computer anymore. Then, I Google about a password reseter or recovery for windows without installing a new OS.
This is what I did:
1. Download the Spotmau 2010 software which is, of course paid, but if you need a free copy you can get it HERE, through P2P. (You must have a utorrent or any torrent client installed)
2. Assuming that you have finished downloading SPOTMAU POWERSUITE 2010, Open the folder that contains downloaded files.
3. Extract the BootCare_CD to a location which is easy for you to find (for example on the desktop).
4. Open the extracted BootCare_CD ( on the desktop if you have followed the example in number 3.)
5. Burn the the ISO file in the extracted BootCare_CD folder. The easiest way is to double-click burncdcc.exe in the same folder.
6. After Burning the CD is done, you can now reset password of any Windows platform computer by using the PASSWORD KIT on Boot.
How to change or reset the password?
1. assuming that you have done the above steps, switch on any computer and make sure that the CD/DVD drive is the first BOOT priority. To do this;
a) Restart computer and press Press DEL (delete tab on the keyboard to ENTER BIOS
SETUP) until the blue screen appears.
b) Go to the BOOT tab and SELECT Boot Device Priority or similar.
c) Choose CD/DVD Drive on the first priority.
d) Save and exit.
2. Insert the Spotmau BootCare CD (from the ISO file)
3. On the screen, BOOT options will appear such as 1. BOOT SPOTMAU POWERSUITE 2010
2. BOOT FROM HARD DISK
3. HELP
4. Select BOOT SPOTMAU POWERSUITE 2010 and wait for a while.
5. On the Spotmau Options, Choose PASSWORD KIT.
6. Choose the OS that you are using.
7. Select the user account which you want the password to be changed.
8. Click Start button (on the lower right) and wait for the confirmation.
9. After the confirmation, the password of the computer is now being removed. Restart the computer and and remove the Spotmau BootCare CD and your computer will load up your OS and Logon without asking any password.
You may assign new password if you want. You might use this to prank your friends by changing their computer passwords..
You must know the risk of doing this and visualize the possible consequences...
